The Fairy Queen is the oldest working Steam Locomotive in the world. It was built in 1855 and in 1996 it was completely over hauled by ICF (Integral Coach Factory) in Perumbur.

In 1997, it resumed its commercial operation for a 2 Days/1 Nights tourist circuit from Delhi to Alwar as Fairy Queen Train Tour and got certified as the world's oldest working locomotive by the Guinness Book of World Records in 1998. The famous Fairy Queen operates between the months of October to March.

The journey of Fairy Queen includes 1Night/2 Days historic journey from Delhi to the beautiful city of Alwar and to Sariska (by A/C Coach). The train leaves from Delhi Cantonment Railway station in Delhi and arrives at Alwar Railway station. From here an air-conditioned vehicles takes travelers to Sariska Tiger Reserve. After an over night stay at the reserve, check-out by noon the next day and return back to Alwar railway station, board the train and arrive back in Delhi.
