• Central Jail- This is the biggest jail in the Vellore district and was established in the year 1867.

• Clock Tower- Erected mainly in memory of King George V's coronation this tower is even commemorating those Vellore based 22 British soldiers who was a part of the World War I.
• Jalagamparai Waterfalls- The surrounding region of this waterfall in the Yelagiri Hills is an ideal day long trekking destination as well as an excellent picnic spot.
• Jalakandeswarar Temple- This temple is devoted to God Shiva and is located within the boundary of the Vellore Fort.

• Sholinganallur Temple- Built about 200 years ago during the reign of Karikal Cholan this temple is situated in Walajah that is around 27 km from Tirutani and Arakkonam railway stations.
• Sripuram Golden Temple- This spiritual park located near the foot hills of a place called Malaikodi has got a Mahalakshmi or Lakshmi Narayani Temple. The exterior and the interior of whose Ardha Mandapam and Vimanam are gold coated.
• State Government Museum- Based inside the Vellore Fort this museum has got a collection of ancient as well as present day works of art and science.
• Vallimalai- Dedicated to Lord Shiva's son Kartikkaya or Lord Muruga this beautiful temple is located at a distance of approximately 18 km from the city.
