The Shillong Airport can handle 100 passengers at a time. Basic infrastructural aspects present are a security counter and six check-ins. Facilities available in the airport include X-ray baggage facility, luggage packaging arrangements, shops for foods, refreshments, and beverages, duty-free shops, shops for local handicrafts, etc. Transport available from the airport includes MTC buses and taxis. The Railway station is also located close to the Shillong Airport.
