The water in Sahastradhara has a fall of around 9 meters. Its water is full of lime which is evident from the incrustation it leaves behind whenever you touch. Lime sediments thereby accumulated over years and created a projecting ledge, and a form of cave, from the top of which falls the shower. There lies as well a sulfur spring where the tourists take bath. The water is believed to rectify skin infections and has various other medicinal values.
