Everybody has heard about Salil Chowdhury, O.P.Nayyar, S.D.Burman, R.DBurman and their wonderful creations.
Ilaiyaraaja, M.S.Viswanathan, Naushad, Kalyanji-Anandji, Laxmikant-Pyarelal are some other renowned music directors of the past. R.C.Boral, Pankaj Mullick and Anil Biswas were some notable directors in the 40's whose music scores were basically on the Northern India's Moghul and Rajput courts.
