Nursing is an excellent profession in India which involves looking after medical patients in a hospital or nursing home. Nursing courses in India can be categorized into bachelor's degree courses (B.Sc Nursing) and master's degree courses (M.Sc Nursing). In order to be eligible to study B.Sc Nursing course, the students need to pass the Senior Secondary level examination or 10+2 examination. The total marks necessary to get admission is dependent on the requirement of the college or university concerned. In addition, the student must have Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as subjects in his/her 10+2 or Senior Secondary Level Examination. The age of the course aspirant must be minimum 17 years during the time of enrolment. For B.Sc Nursing post basic, the students need to pass their 10+2 exam and have a GNM diploma.
